Conversation #1
Little Miss is back at school cocooned in plaster from her belly button to her ankles, not very comfortable to say the least. At one point she is sitting in a beanbag,
Her - (blowing kisses) muah,muah... Bye Chris
Me - Bye?
Her - (blowing kisses) muah, Bye!
Me - Where are you going?
Her - Hiking!!
Me - Hiking?!? (laughing) Okay, see you later. Do you need any help?
Her - No...
Me - Your silly!
She starts laughing

This isn't so much a conversation as a funny:
We were talking about a situation where a parent tried to drop off their child 30 minutes early. We are a 3 hour preschool class not a full day daycare, so needless to say we were a little "miffed". Not to be left out Little Miss pipes up after the teacher made a comment - YA Cheryl!! :)
(FYI - During our conversation we didn't use names or say anything derogatory around the children)

Conversation #3
Our teacher is trying to evaluate one of the students for an upcoming progress meeting with the students parents.
Teacher - What is your name?
Student - mumbles, points off to the window.
T - waits for the student to reorient to the task, What is your name?
S- I got boogers...
I'm hiding in the office so as to not distract the student with my laughing. The things they say when we least expect it.
The same student last week nonchalantly says "I no eat frog leg" during a story that has a frog in it. The teacher gives me a did she just say that look, I nod yes. Luckily the student wasn't expecting a response from us because what do you say to that?? "Uh, good to know", "Me too", "You don't know what you are missing, frog legs are yummy"?
TTFN,
Chris =]
Hi Chris, I see you got one of my hearts. What a great swap Debby hosted. About your clay, Meri of Imagi Meri might be able to helpyou as she makes large sculpts. It sounds complicated! Good luck! Elizabeth
